Our Story

Our project started in 2009 by Jorge and Nelly through a personal experience that took her to the limit between life and death that changed the lives of both. Nelly had a second chance to live, and in response to that blessing and gratitude both made the promise to dedicate their lives help the children.

14 years have passed, since then both have been committed and dedicated bring help and support to the children. Always with a deep sense of responsibility towards the people who depend on their support. That sacred promise always prevails with the compromise of  compassion and dedication and is the stone of the commitment of every life they provide care and protection. When they became parents of their children Lalo and Obed, that commitment was strengthened.

In 2002, during Nelly and Jorge’s experience as directors of an foster home, a beautiful opportunity presented in their lives. They decided to open their hearts and adopted Franco, a boy who became part of their family and brought new joy to their lives.

In this new life as a family, they began in April 2023 the construction of Bonds Of Love Orphanage. A project that  symbolizes hope and an opportunity to transform lives. Is not only a place of care and protection, but also a true home where family connections are formed and endure. As we continue to building our home We want it will become a beacon of hope in the community. With the colaboration of volunteers and financial support, this project is consolidated as a new place where children can find an opportunity to build a better future.

Jorge, Nelly, Lalo, Obed, Franco and the entire team at Bonds Of Love Orphanage are committed to preserve our values to this noble mission, with a clear vision and a deep passion for child welfare.
